We can't keep font weight whatever I want like pagefly. In the gempages the font weight comes form theme. It's not good. It would be great if we can keep font wieght like pagefly.

I would like to thank you for your suggestion on extending GemPages' feature.
Yes, currently GemPages will use the theme's font weight as default for text-base element's property.
We already have planned features similar to your suggestion on GemPages' Development Roadmap.
