Savable styles for elements

It should be possible to save "styles" for elements, e.g. for headings. For example, we would like to keep our headings consistent across pages, and we would like to create different styles, e.g.:
H1 Font #1
H1 Font #2
H2 Font #1
H2 Font #2
This is different from saved elements, because the styles are kept in sync. This is different from the planned Sections feature because you can change the content of the heading while still using the same style.

I'd like to see a global settings option to be able to adjust settings globally for an entire template as well as the option to select specific pages. For example, it would be a huge time saver if you could adjust Add To Cart button settings (Ajax, Font, Effects) at a global level so you don't have to do this for every Add to Cart button (hundreds). If this could be added under the Dashboard or even on each of the Pages - index page, that would be ideal.
