One of the features that would be crucial for WCAG 2.2 compliance needs and ADA compliance is the ability to easily allow the users to pause, play and mute a video for the Video Banner widget.
"Website videos must adhere to specific accessibility compliance standards, primarily under the WCAG 2.2 Pause, Stop, Hide criterion. Any auto-playing video lasting longer than 5 seconds or audio playing for over 3 seconds must provide users with an accessible mechanism to pause, stop, mute, or hide the content."
The video player widget has some default player options but the Video Banner widget doesn't have any capabilities to do this. We're using the Concept theme and their video banner has a very nice play/pause button option. I would love to see the Video Banner widget upgraded to not only feature this functionality but be able to style the button and position the button over the Video Banner. This needs to work on self-hosted as well as 3rd party hosted videos (YouTube, Vimeo).
I rather build all our pages in GemPages but because the client wants video banner headers on most pages we have had to ditch GemPages and use the Concept theme page with a ton of CSS modifications.
