Remove unpaid items from orders in Sales Funnels

We’d like to suggest a critical feature enhancement for the Sales Funnels functionality.

In other post-purchase funnel applications, there's a built-in mechanism to automatically remove unpaid items from an order if the payment fails or isn’t completed within a specific timeframe. Additionally, these apps trigger an invoice or payment reminder email to the customer immediately after the failed attempt, encouraging them to complete the purchase.

This is especially important for stores using manual payment capture or other methodologies as part of their fraud prevention process. In the current setup, unpaid upsell items remain attached to the order, which creates operational and accounting issues, and may lead to confusion or fulfillment errors.

We’re wondering if this functionality—auto-removal of unpaid items + triggered email prompt—can be added to Sales Funnels. It would greatly improve the post-purchase flow and align the feature set with other tools in the market.
