Support Variant-Specific Images and Hover Images in the Product Image Element

Hi team,

Please improve the GemPages Product Image element so that product images respond dynamically to the selected variant.

When a customer selects a variant, such as a color:

• The primary image should update to the first image associated with that variant.

• Hovering should display the second image associated with the selected variant.

• Images belonging to other variants should not be shown.

• The image should update immediately when the customer switches between variants.

Currently, the hover function always displays the second image in the product’s overall Shopify media order, rather than the second image associated with the selected variant. This makes it difficult to present products with multiple colors accurately on collection pages.

For example:

• Select Black → show Black Image 1; hover to show Black Image 2.

• Select Purple → show Purple Image 1; hover to show Purple Image 2.

This functionality would be especially valuable for stores that use color swatches and need each color variant to have its own primary and hover images.
