Product Price Element Failing to Sync with Variant ONLY WHEN PRICE IS ZERO / FREE

When selecting a variant within a product element in a collection, the “Product Price” element does not sync in the display for JUST ONE VARIANT — the free consultation / free variant. If I change to price to 0.01, 1, 25, etc, the product price syncs and displays properly on the website. Moreover, the product price element syncs / displays properly in the GemPages editor as well, but when actually viewing the page, variants with a price of zero do not have a proper product price display of 0.00 as well.
